In 1973 we began traveling to the marketplaces in Peru and Bolivia, carefully selecting handknit alpaca sweaters which we sold in craft fairs and local markets around the country from the back of our van. Our commitment to excellence began then, as we painstakingly tested every single sweater that we imported into the States. Now we have a team of agents and checkers in Asia and South America making sure that our standards to maintain the highest quality are being followed.

The wide range of women’s clothing that we offer today bears little resemblance to those early Nomadic Traders products. We complement our current sportswear programs with an updated sweater line to create collection dressing for both Spring and Fall.

Working out of half a dozen countries our experienced design team creates the “Nomadic” look from casual weekend wear to resort sophistication. Breezy rayon batiks designed exclusively for the American market, crisp silk linens, embroidered blouses, hand-painted linen, washable silk….the list goes on and on. We are constantly searching out new fabrications to bring to you the latest trends and novelty items.
Please enjoy visiting our website where you will find some of our latest products as well as how to contact our professional sales team which covers all 50 states. We look forward to providing you with personalized service to create a strong partnership between your company and ours.
